Mrs. Mariyamma Arasaratnam, who was born and lived in St. Soosaiappar Kovilady, Atchuvely Thenmoolai, Jaffna, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Tuesday, 15 February 2022.
She is the beloved daughter of the late Dominic and Marypillai,
Loving daughter in law of the late Mariyampillai and Marypillai,
Beloved wife of the late Arasaratnam,
Ever loving mother of Leyton (France), Rasa (Sri Lanka), Rasathi, Thavarajah, Jeyanthan, Sinnamalar and Celestine (all of Canada), Rev. Eric Roshan (St. Anne Chruch, Ilavalai), Rohini (Canada), Mary Edna (Canada), Alex (France), Clemente (Sri Lanka), Dias (Sri Lanka) and Dalini (Germany),
Kind and loving sister of the late Packiyarajah and Bernadette and also of Sinnarajah,
Loving sister in law of Atputham (deceased), Phillipu, Malli, the late Nesaratnam, Navaratnam,
Rasanayagam, Selvaratnam, Balasingam, Theresa and Rajasingam, and also of Lurthu Mary,
Loving mother in law of Pushpa, Vejini, Francis, Renie, Selvam, Regie, Lillishanthi, Morris, Jeyananthan, Sutharshini, Nandini, Ranji and Jude,
Affectionate grandmother of Christine, Claude, Sherin, Andrew, Fowshika, Aglas, Anushka, Aliston, Jassica, Meerika, Bruno, Kevin, Antonette, Christa, Joel (deceased), Lindsey, Kapi, Greywin, Jeseelan, Dushika, Jeromin, Fianca, Benika, Theresa, Riphani, Lisa, Ronald, Regan, Pathusha, Anette, Anash, Thanush, Ananthika, Kanika and Jenone,

Her remains will be surrendered with a holy mass at the St. Soosaiappar Church on Saturday, 19 February 2022, at around 03:00 PM, followed by internment at the Atchuvely Cemetery.
