Mrs. Mary Matilda Poopathi Rajanayakam Raymond

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mrs. Mary Matilda Poopathi Rajanayakam Raymond. Her love, kindness, and enduring legacy will forever remain in our hearts.
Mary was born in Karampon and spent much of her life in Negombo, Sri Lanka.
She was the youngest daughter of the late Mr. Alfred Anthonypillai and the late Mrs. Emilia Anthonypillai, and the beloved daughter-in-law of the late Mrs. Mary Margaret Thuraisingham and the late Mr. Benedict Thuraisingham.
She was the devoted and loving wife of Mr. Raymond Rajanayakam.
She was a cherished mother to Juno Christina and Morita Selastina, and a proud and loving grandmother to Emoriya and Evana, who brought her immense joy.
Poopathi will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her siblings: Mary Mariestella, Frances Xavier, Joseph Jayarajah, Mary Juliet, Paul Jesuthasan, Peter Amalanathan, and Mary Rosary.
She will also be fondly remembered by her brothers- and sisters-in-law: Mariadas, Shanthi, Yoga, Mariadevadasan, Panchavani, Chrishanthi, and Thomas, Felixrajanayagam, Late Mary Antonia, Christy, Rita, Mary Selestine, Mary Theresa, along with her extended family and many dear friends.
