Mrs. Mary Theresa Winceslaus, who was born in Elavalai, Jaffna, and lived in Atchukuda Veethy and Main Street, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Monday, 22 March 2021.
She is the beloved daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Anthonypillai and Nesammah,
Loving daughter in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph and Annammah,
Beloved wife of the late Mr. Joseph Pushparajah Winceslaus,
Ever loving mother of Bernadine Vinothini (Australia), Bettina Eshanthini (Norway) and Polinus Jehan (London),
Loving mother in law of Johnson Jesuthasan (Australia), Roy Kengakaran (Norway) and Tharany
(London),
Kind and loving sister of George (deceased), Rajeswary (Baby; France), Anton Joseph (Jeyarajah; France), Jesuthasan (Selvarajah; Canada), Pathinathar (Yogarajah; Canada), Benedict (Babyrajah; Sri Lanka), Pushparani (Malar; France) (deceased) and Vimalanathan (Nathan; France),
Loving sister in law of Alfred (France), Philomena (France), Yasintha (Canada), Helen (Canada),
Ariyavathy (Sri Lanka), Pauline (France) and Mariyanayagam (France),
Affectionate grandmother of Angelo, Jeramy, Jayden, Jovitta and Patricia.
Her remains will lie in state for paying tributes on Thursday, 25 March 2021, from 08:00 AM to 02:30 PM at the White House Hall on Main Street, and then at around 03:00 PM will be surrendered at a Holy Mass at the Jaffna St. Ann Mary’s Church, followed by Holy Burial at the St. Konchenchy Cemetery.
