Mrs. (Doctor) Mayuri Janagan, who was born in Velanai, Jaffna and lived in Negombo and Colombo, passed away in Colombo, and was embraced by God on Wednesday, 04 November 2020.
She is the beloved youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sivendran and Yogalakshmi (Yoga),
Loving daughter in law of Balendran (Retired Principal- Saravanai Nageswary Maha Vidyalayam)
and Perinpajanaki (Retired Teaching Consultant, Jaffna Educational Region),
Beloved wife of Janagan (Kanna; Accountant),
Kind and Loving sister of Shalini (London),
Ever loving niece of Yogalingam (Germany), Thavalingam (Canada), Ganeshalingam (Trincomalee) and Gnanalingam (Canada),
Loving foster daughter of Shanthalakshmi (Velanai), Gnanalakshmi (Jaffna), Jeyalakshmi (Canada) and Mahalakshmi (Canada),
Loving sister in law of Thiruparan (London), Dhwaraga (Dr. National Hospital; Colombo), Kalpana (Teacher; Ariyalai Parvathy Vidyalayam), Pratheepa (Lawyer), Nirujan (HSBC; China) and Niruja (Singapore),
Affectionate aunty (Chiththi) of Thanish, Ajesh and Akshitha (London),
Dearly loving aunty (Mami of Sairamana (Jaffna), Lakshiyan and Nilani (Singapore).
Her remains were kept for final tributes and viewing at the Galkissa Mahinda Funeral Parlour on
Thursday, 05 November 2020, followed by Cremation at the Galkissa Hindu Cemetery at around 3:00 PM.
