On behalf of all doctors graduated from Russia Especially Moscow and whoever worked with him in Northern Province our sincerest condolences to Ganthi anna's family on their loss of such a great person, husband, father, and friend for so many. Ganthi anna has been a friend and mentor of ours for many years and we cannot express our sadness.
My prayers are with her family and friends at this time of loss.ðŸ¼
Its 1996 I 1st met him in Moscow. Even though I am from different university he helped me in many ways. I saw him helping many other new comers too. He has been always there for whoever in need. He was a victim of Polio.
It was so unfortunate while he was doing ERPM exam he had walking difficulties during exam then was diagnosed Lymphoma. He even fought harder finished his exams and got the registration to practice in Sri-Lanka. Had a chance to do internship with him in Eastern province. Such a gem of a soul. Always making others smile with his ever loving smile. Then Government denied him the postintern appointment due to his illness. But he still tried and got a temporary Job at Jaffna RDHS and appointed to Nainatheevu and worked as DMO. He has been gone through such painful years with chemotherapy and so on. At last I thought God has been kind he settled in Nainatheevu. But then the fate came a long.
It is with a heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Gandhi anna as he lost a long and courageous battle with the disease. We are mourning the loss of a great human being and an even better friend.
