Mr. Murugesu Panchadcaharam, who was born in Thumpalai, Point Pedro, Jaffna, and lived in Athiyaday, Jaffna and Mount Lavinia, Colombo, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Saturday, 26 March 2022. 

He is the beloved son of the late Murugesu and Navamani.

Loving son in law of the late Balasubramaniam and Nageshwary.

Beloved husband of the late Vijayanthi (Baby).

Ever loving father of Vithubhanu, Sairabhanu and Bhanureka.

Kind and loving brother of Ponrani and Yoganandarajah.

Loving father in law of Sugumaran, Mayuran and Dylakshan.

Affectionate grandfather of Arhadana, Archana, Anjana, Ahilsharan, Alan Sanjay, Abhi Srija, Gana, Kanishka and Jennanavi.

Loving brother in law of Vijayakumar, Jeyakumar, Srikanth, Vasanthi, Jeyanthi, and the late Kanagalingam, Jegan and Uthayakumar.

Loving uncle (Periyappah) of Purushothaman, Thadchayini, Vidya Bhanu, Priya Bhanu and Bhanuchandar.

Caring uncle (Mama) of Deepalini, Baladinesh, Dylani, Kishore, Hitesh and Harishma.

Loving brother in law (Sammanthy) of Ganehsan and the late Thangarajah and Inparajah.

His funeral and final rites functions will be conducted at his residence at No. 39D, Station Road, Mount Lavinia, Sri Lanka, at around 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, 30 March 2022, followed by cremation at the Dehiwala Mount Lavinia Cemetery.
