Mr. Muthucumaraswamy Puvananayagam, who was born in Elalai West, Jaffna, and lived in Kondavil, Jaffna, Colombo, Sri Lanka, and currently in Franklin Township, New Jersey, USA, passed away and was embraced by God on Sunday, August 23, 2020.
He is the beloved eldest son the late Mr. and Mrs. Kanthapillai Muthucumaraswamy (Accountant) and Parameswary of Elalai West,
Loving son in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Kandiah Ramanathan (J.P., Overseer) and Selvaranee
of Kondavil,
Beloved husband of Regina,
Ever loving father of Dr. Nirosha and Thanusha Schuller,
Loving father in law of Schuller Destin,
Kind and loving brother of Kumaranayagam (UK), Kanaganayaki (Sri Lanka), Paramanayagam (Sri Lanka), Kulathevanayagam (UK), Mahalakshmi (Australia) and the late Prapaharan,
Loving brother in law of the late Radha, and also of Sivaneswaran, Sumathi, Ambika, Ramkumaran and Arulmalar,
Also, through marriage, the loving brother in law of Sriramanathan (USA), Neeta Amuthasakaran (USA), Rudra (USA), Naveendra (USA), Rupa Sivanesan (UK), Mahinthan (USA),Kuhan(USA) and Asokan (USA),
Affectionate grandfather of Samaira and Jainil Destin.

"He is a good friend of mine. Met him at my first appointment in Pollonaruwa in Sri Lanka away back in 1972. Played Tennis every evening together. Shared many things and thinking back of the good old memories, I find little peace that at least I had the opportunity of meeting this wonderful man and friend.
It was shocking news when I heard the bad news of him passing away.
My heart felt condolence to his wife and children during this difficult time. . "
