Mr. Muthukumaraswamipillai Kumarasamy, who was born in Mayilani, Chunnakam, Jaffna, and lived in Wellawatte, Colombo passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Friday, 24 September 2021.
He is the beloved grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. A. Kumaraswamy Pulavar of Chunnakam, and the late Mr. and Mrs. T. Kumaraswamy (Attorney at Law, J.P.U.P.M Founder, Mayilani Saiva Maha Vidyalayam),
Beloved son of the late Muthukumaraswamipillai (BA – Former College Principal) and Kamalambigai,
Loving son in law of the late Rajaratnam (Former Principal, Ayurvedic School) and Thaiyalnayaki,
Beloved husband of Parameswary,
Ever loving father of Yamuna and Janaki,
Loving father in law of Thirulingam and Bavananthan,
Kind and loving brother of the late Mangayarkarasi (Former Principal, Ramanathan College, Jaffna), Sivasothy (Former Teacher, Ramanathan College) and Chandrasekaran (Attorney General's Department),
Loving brother in law of the late Thiruchittampalam, Thuraisingam and Vaithiyanathan, and also of Rajeswary, Shanmuganathan, Thilagavathy, Maheswary -Sripathy, Pathmanathan, Bavani (deceased), Jeganathan -Aruna,
Affectionate grandfather of Gajan, Kugan, Harini and Hashini.
His funeral and final rites functions will be conducted on Sunday, 26 September 2021.
