Mr. Mylvaganam Ponnampalam, who was born in Ponnudaiyar Valavu, Karanavai, Jaffna, andlived in Yama Valavu, Thellipalai, Jaffna, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Friday, 25 June 2021.
He is the beloved son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Mylvaganam and Sellammah,
Loving son in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sundaramoorthy (Retired Teacher – Mahajana College) and Thaiyalnayaki,
Beloved husband of Kaladevi (Retired Lecturer, Kopay Teachers’ Training College, Teacher, Mahajana College and Nadeswara College),
Kind and Loving brother of Kandiah (deceased) -Mangayarkarasi, Valliammaipillan - Pathmanathan (both deceased), Parameswary -Thiruchandran, and Tharmakulasingam - Nirmaladevi,
Loving brother in law of Vettivelayutham -Selvamalar (deceased), Ambigadevi -Paramanathan,
Sayathevi -Selvarajan (deceased), Sakunthaladevi -Sathiyapalan and Logabalini -Sriranganathan,
Affectionate nephew of the lar Kanapathipillai (Attorney at Law) and Kandiahpillai (Retired Teacher),
Also the dearly loving nephew of the late Thangaratnam.
His funeral and final rites functions will be conducted at his residence in Yama Valavu, Thellipalai, on Saturday, 26 June 2021, followed by Cremation at around 02:00 PM at the Kothiyalady Cemetery.
