Mr. Nagalingam Jeyanolibavan, who was born in Malaysia and lived in Uduvil and Kokuvil, Jaffna, and Kotahena, Colombo, passed away peacefully in Colombo, and was embraced by God on Saturday, 08 January 2022.
He is the beloved son of the late Nagalingam and Packiyam,
Loving son in law of the late Subramaniam and Packiyam,
Beloved husband of Ariyamalar,
Ever loving father of Raviraj (UK), Rajani (Germany) and Prathapan (Canada),
Loving father in law of Nirupa, Shanmugeswaran and Nalini,
Kind and loving brother of the late Ganeshalingam, Kugadasan and Mahadevi,
Loving brother in law of the late Parameswary, Pathmaranjini and Mahadevan, and also of Inpamalar(Canada), Selvamalar (Colombo), Murugathas (UK) and Indrajothi (UK),
Affectionate grandfather of Daniya, Kishan, Mathusha, Aruhan and Oviyan.
His remains will lie in state for paying tributes at the Jayaratne Parlor (Elvitigala Mawatha, Colombo 8), on Sunday, 09 January 2022, at around 03:00 PM, with funeral and final rites functions conducted on Monday, 10 January 2022, at around 03:00 PM, followed by cremation at the Kanatte General Cemetery in Borella.
