Mr. Nagalingam Sabanathan, who was born in Chunnakam, Jaffna, and lived in Wellawatte, Colombo, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Monday, 23 August 2021.
He is the beloved son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nagalingam (Founder and Principal, Nageswary Vidyasalai, Chunnakam) and Kanmani,
Loving son in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thangarajah and Rasapoopathy,
Beloved husband of Kamalasini,
Kind and loving brother of the late Sivasothinathan, Sriselvanathan, Rajanathan, Indradevi and
Yoganathan, and also of Jeganathan (Canada), Vanithamani (Usha, Canada) and Ravindranathan (UK),
Loving brother in law of Selvarani, Sarojadevi, the late Nagarajah, and also of Shanthakumari, Gnanadevi, Shanthinathan, Karuna, Raguranjan and Malini,
Also the loving brother in law (Sahalan) of Rajika and Senthinathan,
Caring uncle (Chiththappah) of Chandrakumari, Suriyakumari, Ragunathan (deceased), Jeyakumari, Selvakumari, Vijayakumari, Sivapriya, Sanjivan, Sutharshan and Tharanya,
Kind and Loving uncle (Mama) of Hariharan, Sasiharan, Sasirekha, Sasitharan, Dharshika, Nishanth, Rejishanth, Archana and Akash,
Loving uncle (Periyappah) of Varun, Inthuja, Sinthujan, Sinthuja, Jalaja, Lambojan, Banuja, Krishna and Aparna.
His funeral and final rites functions will be conducted as per Covid 19 hygienic guidelines and his remains will be cremated peacefully.
