Mr. Nagalingam Vijayaratnam, who was born in Atchelu, Neervely, Jaffna, and lived in Helsinki, Finland, passed away peacefully in Jaffna and was embraced by God on Friday, 04 March 2022.
He is the beloved son of the late Nagalingam and Annapillai.
Loving son in law of the late Ramalingam and Packiyam.
Beloved husband of Thevamalar (Finland).
Ever loving father of Nandagopan (Gopu), Dhushyanthi (Finland), Thamayanthi (London), Karthika (Canada), Venugopan, Uthayagopan (Finland), Brintha (London), Srirangan (London) and Yathunanthan (Finland).
Kind and loving brother of the late Maheswary, Lakshmipillai, Gopalasingam and Subramaniam, and also of Mangayarkarasi and Vettivadivel.
Loving father in law of Jeyanthi, Kesavendran, Mohan, Jeyalini, Diana, Manimaran, Sharmila and Vithushika.
Affectionate grandfather of Vishnukanth, Ashivika, Thirushna, Thayahan, Vengayan, Vaiyahan, Shanuka, Shanila, Saira, Sujeera, Karun, Kanaki, Yalahi, Yathavan, Visahan, Ilakiya and Iyalya.
His remains will lie in state for paying tributes at his residence in Atchelu on Monday, 07 March 2022, with funeral and final rites functions conducted at around 12:00 Noon, followed by Cremation at the Atchelu Hindu Cemetery.
