Mrs. Nagammah Kanapathipillai, who was born in Amman Kovilady, Velanai East, Jaffna, and lived in Colombo, passed away peacefully in Colombo and was embraced by God on Saturday, 19 March 2022.
She is the beloved daughter of the late Kandiah and Theivanai.
Loving daughter in law of the late Murugesu and Sinnathangam.
Beloved wife of the late Kanapathipillai.
Kind and loving sister of the late M. Sellammah, Kangalingam, M. Rajalakshmi and P. Annalakshmi, and also of P. Sornamani (Canada), T. Poopathyammah (Colombo) and K. Kandasamy (Golden Money Changers, Fort, Colombo, Kalpana Mill, Vavuniya).
Loving sister in law of the late K. Rasammah, M. Ponnammah (Velanai), the late A. Kamalambigai, N. Saraswathy, S. Poopathy and S. Sinthamani.

Her remains will lie in state for paying tributes at the Jayaratne VIP Respect Home in Borella, on Sunday, 20 March 2022 from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM, with funeral and final rites functions conducted at around 10:00 AM on Monday, 21 March 2022, followed by cremation at the Kanatte Cemetery from 12 Noon to 01:00 PM.
