Mr. Naganathar Sellathurai, who was born in Punguduthivu, Ward No. 4, Jaffna and lived in Punguduthivu, Ward No. 11, Jaffna, Kilinochchi, and later in Colombo passed away peacefully in Colombo and was embraced by God on Wednesday, 23 February 2022.

He is the beloved son of the late Naganathar and Parvatham.

Loving son in law of the late Sinniah and Visaladchi.

Beloved husband of Yogammah (Retired Teacher)

Ever loving father of Mathivathani, Mathivathanan., Mathivannan and Rajani.

Kind and loving brother of the late Ramalingam, Seethevipillai and Kanapathipillai, and also of Arumugam (France) and the late Tharmalingam.

Loving brother in law of Thanalakshmi, Senathirajah (deceased), Paramalingam, Navamani, Muthulingam, Shanthalingam (deceased), and Selvanayaki.

Loving father in law of Kesavarajah, Geetha, Vijiya and Thayaparan.

Affectionate grandfather of Abhiram, Amutha, Keethana and Thadshiniya.

His remains will lie in state for paying tributes from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, 26 February 2022 at the Jayaratne Parlour in Borella, Colombo, with funeral and final rites functions conducted at around 10:00 AM on Sunday, 27 February 2022, followed by cremation at the Kanatte Cemetery in Borella.
