Mrs. Mahalakshmi Nagendran, who was born in Pungdutheevu, Ward No. 12, Jaffna, and lived in Lyon, France and in Switzerland, passed away in Sri Lanka, and was embraced by God on Sunday, September 13, 2020.
She is the beloved daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nagalingam and Nagamuthu,
Loving daughter in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Kandiah and Thangapackiyam,
Beloved wife of the late Mr. Nagendram,
Ever loving mother of Shanthi, Kamala (deceased), Jeyanthi and Ilanthi,
Loving mother in law of the late Murugarasa, Mahendrad (Jude), and also of Balasingam, Uthayakumar and Kandeepan,
Kind and Loving sister of the late Ratnam and Satkunam,
Loving foster sister of Ramalingam and Thatpathanantham,
Loving sister in law of Ariaratnam – Balambigai, Theivendram – Kili, Rajanathan – Yogeswary,
Jesuthas -Chandra, Thevathas – Chandralekha, Amalathas, the late Vaithilingam and Erambu,
Kind and loving aunty (Chinnammah) of Pathmanathan- Nageswary, Paramalingam –Annalakshmi, Vaithilingam -Parameswary, Vasanthakumaran -Pushpalatha, Vasanthanathevi -Thirilinganathan, and Shakunthaladevi – Shanmugarajah,
Affectionate grandmother of Purushothaman – Suganthini, Sujeepan – Shabeena, Lakshikanth, Mayuran, Senthuran- Prathana, Nasha, Kasha and Konesh,
Fondly loving great grandmother of Solan, Seran, Saravanan, Hari Vishnu and Jeya Krishna.
Her funeral and final rites functions will be conducted at the Pungudutheevu, Manatkaadu Cemetery on Tuesday, September 15, 2020.
