Mrs. Packiyam Amirthalingam, who was born in Thunnalai, Jaffna, and lived in Atchuvely, Jaffna, and later in Kent, UK, passed away peacefully in Kent, UK and was embraced by God on Monday, 15 March 2021.
She is the beloved daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Senathirajah and Luxmyammah of Thunnalai,
Loving daughter in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Kandiah and Theivanaipillai of Atchuvely,
Beloved wife of the late Mr. Amirthalingam (Retired Grama Sevakha of Atchuvely),
Ever loving mother of Sivaseelan (Australia), Srilatha (UK) and Srimevan (UK),
Loving mother in law of Kanthimathi (Australia), Srikrishnathas (UK) and Vasuki (UK),
Kind and loving sister of Easwary (Australia), Mahendran (Sri Lanka) (deceased), Poopalapillai
(Rajah; Sweden), Linston Pathirajah (Sri Lanka), Ganeshapillai (Sri Lanka) and Theivendran (UK),
Loving sister in law of Parameswaran (Australia), Kulathilakavathy (Sri Lanka), Packiyam (Sweden), Shamini (Sri Lanka) (deceased), Gracewary (Sri Lanka) and Shanthini (UK),
Affectionate grandmother of Sajeevan (Australia), Shamini (Australia), Suthaharan, Sajitha, Sairam, Shakila, Shalini and Mathavan, all of the UK,
Dearly loving great grandmother Chris and Kishone, both of the UK.
Her funeral and final rites functions will be conducted (as a Private Ceremony) on Tuesday, 23 March 2021, from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM.
