Mrs. Palavi Kandiah Kanagammah, who was born and lived in Neervely North, Neervely, Jaffna passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on the early morning hours of 4:00 AM on Monday, 28 March 2022.

She is the beloved daughter of the late Nagalingam and Sellammah.

Loving daughter in law of Veerabagu and Lakshmi.

Beloved wife of the late Veerabagu Kandiah.

Ever loving mother of the late Nadarajah and Sivarajah, and also of Rasamani, Thavarajah (deceased), Thavaranjini, Nithiyarajah, Anandarajah and Puvaneswary.

Loving mother in law of Yogalakshmi, Rajeswary, Vijaya, Viji, Ravindran and Sivakumar.

Affectionate grandmother of Suthashini (deceased), Suthaharan, Subhashini, Sritharan, Sharmini, Sarruban, Niruyan, Niroth (deceased), Thishokan, Pamila, Dinesh, Sophie, Vishnuhan, Vishnavi, Arthika, Archana, Akshayan and Arjun.

Dearly loving great grandmother of Kriyas, Harone, Sylomi, Dinush, Rangana, Dharushan, Tharmikan, Dishana, Mathushan, Manusha, Mithunan and Sharina.

Her funeral and final rites functions will be conducted at her residence at around 8:30 AM on Wednesday, 30 March 2022, and her remains will be taken for cremation at around 11:00 AM to the Seeyakadu Hindu Cemetery in Neervely.
