She is the beloved daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Chinniah and Rasammah,
Loving daughter in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. M. Ponnambalam and Iyathaipillai,
Beloved wife of Mr. M. P. Murugesapillai (Famous Businessman, Bankshall Street, Colombo),
Ever loving mother of Thamaraichelvi (Chelvi; Canada), Arulmoli (Arul; Canada), Vasuki (Jaffna), Kalingarani (Kalinga; London), Muruganandan (Murugan; Famous Businessman, Bankshall Street, Colombo), Kalingarajan (Kalingan; Swiss) and Thenmoli (Canada),
Loving mother in law of Kuganesan (Kugan, Canada) (deceased), Karunanidhi (Karuna; Canada),
Gajendran (Praveena Hardware, Jaffna), Yogarajah (Yogi, London), Kamalaleela (Colobo), Anita (Swiss) and Sutharshan (Canada),
Loving niece of the late Kanagasabai and Chinniah (Shanmugam),
Also the loving niece (foster daughter) of the late Nagamuthu Chinniah,

Dearly loving great grandmother of Kira, Karina, Percy, Priya and Prince.
Her remains will lie in state for paying final tributes at the Jayaratne Parlour in Borella on Monday, 22 March 2021, at around 8:00 AM, followed by Funeral and Final Rites functions conducted at around 02:00 PM, with Cremation at around 04:00 PM.
