Mrs. Pathmadevi Balasingam, who was born in Nallur, Jaffna, and lived in Hatton, and recently in Colombo, passed away, and was embraced by God on Wednesday, October 07, 2020.
She is the beloved daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Suppiah and Sellammah,
Loving daughter in law of Mr. and Mrs. Thambiyappah and Parasakthy,
Beloved wife of the late Thambiyappah Balasingam,
Ever loving mother of Navintha (Anusha; Germany), Sajeentha (Sasi;Canada), Prashanthi (Jega;Colombo), and Umatharshan (Siva; Dubai),
Kind and Loving sister of the late Mahadevan, Rajeswary and Kathiramalainathan,
Loving sister in law of the late Jeyathevan, Ratnam, Maheswary, Thanalakshmi, Krishnakumar,and also of Vijayakumar, Shanthakumar and Sarathadevi,
Loving mother in law of Thavarajah (Germany), Suthahar (Canada), Surendran (Colombo) and Juliette (Dubai),
Affectionate grandmother (Ammammah) of Yanoshan (Germany), Thibishan (Germany), Lakshana (Canada), Riyashana (Canada) and Akshika (Holy Family Convent Student, Colombo),
Fondly loving grandmother (Appammah) of Nicole Sahani (Dubai) and Amrisha (Dubai).
Funeral and final rites will be conducted at Mahinda Parlour on Thursday, 08 October 2020 at around 03:00 PM.
