Mrs. Pathmavathy Vaithilingam, who was born in Thirunelvely, Jaffna, and lived in Malaysia, Colombo and Oman, and later in Toronto, Canada, passed away peacefully in Canada and was embraced by God on Tuesday, 04 January 2022.
She is the beloved daughter of the late Visvalingam and Uthami,

Beloved wife of the late Vaithilingam Nagalingam (Health Inspector, Sri Lanka, Public Health Officer, Palace Medical Services, Oman),
Ever loving mother of Indrany, Shanthini (deceased), Chandrakumar, Cynthia, Prema and Jeyakumar,
Loving niece (foster daughter) of Vethavanam Visvalingam,
Kind and loving sister of the late Parvathydevi Nallainathan,
Loving aunty (Periyammah) of Sritharan,
Loving mother in law of Karunanidhi, Sunitha, Kumaraguruparan, Gunashekar, Geethanjali and Shirani,
Loving sister in law (Mattchaal) of the late Mahalakshmi Thamotharampillai, Peranantham Tharmalingam, Gunapoopathy Kandasamy and Nallainathan Chellapah,
Loving niece of A. R. Ponnampalam,
Caring sister (Acca) of Mahalingam Sockalingam (deceased) and Kumaralingam Sockalingam,
