Miss. Periyanayaky Kathirithamby, who was born in Nainathivu, Ward No. 7, Jaffna and lived in Negombo, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Sunday, 14 March 2021.
She is the beloved daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Kanakapillai Kathirithamby and Yogammah,
Kind and loving sister of the late Kanagammah, and also of Saraswathy, Sountharam (Retired Science Teacher – Urumpirai Hindu College), Arumugam (Retired Workshop Manager, Sri Lanka Transport Board, Kondavil), Kunapooshani and Kathiresapillai (Retired Education Officer,Velanai),
Loving sister in law of the late Ratnasabapathy (Businessman), Sornalingam (Businessman),
Mylvaganam (Retired Post Master) and Nadarajah (Retired Technical Officer), and also of Thilagavathy and Varathalakshmi (Retired Principal, Jaffna Eliyathamby Hindu Vidyalayam),
Affectionate aunty (Chithy) of Karunanidhi, Kamalapooshani, Kamalaveni, Kamalvathany, Sathiyavani, Logeswaran, Ketheeswary, Ratheeswary, Ramani, Manohari, Baheerathy, Mayurathy, Suranuka, Shobitha, Mayuran, Narthanan, Branavan, Yasotharan, Meena, Abharna and Shyama,
Dearly loving aunty (Mami) of Nithya, Thatparanantha, Murugathas, Dharshan, Keerthanan, Bavanthini, Manjuladevi, Sathananthan, Uthayasuriyan (deceased), Sundarraj, Ehamparam, Rasanithi, Jeyakumar, Lingeswaran, Pushpaharan, Kuberan, Sivananthan, Senthilkumaran, Nandakumar, Shakila and Venuja.
Her funeral and final rites functions will be conducted at the Negombo, WS Parlour, on Monday, 15 March 2021, at around 12:00 Noon, followed by Cremation at the Negombo General Cemetery.
