Mr. Perumal Mahendran
Date of Birth: 07 April 1932 - Deceased: 10 February 2024
It is with a very heavy heart we announce the passing of Perumal Mahendran who departed from this world on February 10th 2024, at the age of 91.
He lived his life in Jaffna and was retired as a Public Health Inspector. He moved to Staten Island, New York nearly 20 Years ago to join his loving family.
He was an old boy of Colombo Royal College and Jaffna Hindu College.
He is the son of late Perumal Thambyaiah and late Mangayatkarasi,
Son in law of the late Chelliah and late Chellamma,
Dearly beloved husband of Padmavathy,
Ever loving father of Udhishtra, Surendrajit and Neidhra,
Ever loving father in law of Premachandran, Lagini and Bharathan,
Cherished grandfather of Neil, Dylan, Yashan, Yashini, Dheeksha and Akshith,
Loving brother of late Balasubramaniyam,
Beloved brother in law of late Yogeswary, late Chandrasekara, late Shanmugalingam, late Dr. Thillainathan, late Dr. Dhayananthan and late Nithyananthan.
Though he may be no longer with us in body, his spirit will remain in our hearts forever. Deeply missed and fondly remembered.
