Mr. Pitchan Thangamuthu, who was born in Kandy, and lived lately in Kurumankadu, Vavuniya, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Monday, 01 March 2021.
He is the Beloved husband of Petchiyammah,
Ever loving father of Pushpavalli, Chandrashekharar (deceased), Shanmugam (Engineer), Dr. Sathiyamoorthy (Director, Jaffna Teaching Hospital), Dr. Koneshwaran (S. T. Medi Clinic,
Kurumankadu) and Balamurali (Nutrition Advisor, CIC),
Loving father in law of Tharmalingam, Dharshini, Sujatha, Nilusha and Renuka (R.D.H.S Office, Jaffna),
Affectionate grandfather of Thavapalan, Vinothan, Prabaharan, Senthuran, Dhushyanthan, Kavin, Sahana, Varunan, Suruthi, Aharan, Suvithanan, Suvithana, Suhirthanan, Thulasi and Mithun,
Dearly loving great grandfather of Vithushalini, Nomishan, Vaishnavi, Lathushan, Mathuran and Amira.
His remains will lie in state for viewing and paying tributes at No. 11A -UC Quarters, Kurumankadu, Vavuniya on Tuesday 02 March 2021 at around 04:00 PM, with the Funeral and Final Rites functions held on Wednesday, 03 March 2021 at his residence in Selvanagar, Kilinochi, followed by Cremation at around 02:00 PM at the Ananda Nagar Hindu Cemetery in Kilinochi.
