Mr. Ponnampalam Rasiah, who was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and lived in Avarangal , Kokuvil, Jaffna and later in Edmonton, UK, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Thursday, 13 January 2022.
He is the beloved son of the late Ponnampalam and Sellammah,
Beloved husband of the late Sivayogam (Thangatchiyammah),
Ever loving father of Manoharan, Manoranjitham (Bubba) (deceased), Radha, Mala and Nanda,
Loving father in law of Saro, Manoharan, Nithi, Rahulan and Nesan,
Affectionate grandfather of Nirosha, Ramya, Asha, Umesh, Anuyan, Keerthana, Daksha, Aarooran, Dushy, Dwaragan and Dhushyanthan,
Dearly loving great grandfather of Ira, Nova and Ariyan,
Kind and Loving brother of the late Sathasivam and Chandrasekaram, and also of Puvaneswary
(Amirtham), Sountheswary (Thangammah) and Sarojinidevi (Thevi),
Loving brother in law of the late Velupillai, Sinnathamby, Ponnuthurai, Perampalam, Somasundaram and Thambiaiah.
His funeral details will be provided later.
