Mr. Ponnampalam Thayananthan, who was born in Kernikarai, Suthumalai North, Jaffna and lived in Kokuvil North, Jaffna, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Monday, 12 July 2021.
He is the beloved son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ponnampalam and Poomagal,
Loving son in law of the late Mr. Gunaratnam and Mrs. Iswary,
Beloved husband of Anantharubi (Irrigation Department, Jaffna),
Ever loving father of Kathirshikan (Grade 10, Manipay Hindu College) and Haranika (Grade 8,Vembadi Ladies College),
Kind and Loving brother of Vathsaladevi, Vathsalananthan, Vathsalavathy, Sathiyananthan, Thayabalini and Sivasakthy,
Loving brother in law of Yoganathan, Kalavathy, Sivakumaran, Suthamathy, Kumarasamy and
Mahendrarajah,
Also, the loving brother in law of Jeevarubi, Vijayarubi, Shantharubi, Beheerathan, Sritharan, Gnanarubi and Hamsathvany,
Caring uncle (Mama) of Rishika, Dharshika, Rashmitha, Subhangan, Vikashan, Visakan and Thasangan,
Cherished uncle (Chiththappah) of Keerthanan, Arthika, Avanthika and Mithilan,
Also the loving uncle (Mama) of Anushan and Jeyaseelan,
Affectionate grandfather (Thatha) of Senthur, Aathi, Ishan, Ishani and Harishwa.
His funeral and final rites functions will be conducted at his residence at around 01:00 PM, on Tuesday 13 July 2021, followed by Cremation.
