Mr. Ponniah Karunaharan, who was born in Palali, Jaffna and lived in Kantharodai West, Jaffna, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Saturday, 11 September 2021.
He is the beloved eldest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ponniah and Sellamuthu,
Loving son in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Kandiah and Annalakshmi,
Beloved husband of Sasikala,
Ever loving father of Prathapan (France), Brinthapan, Pratheepa (USA), Pratheepan (USA) and
Prahashini (Student, Vavuniya Educational Institute),
Kind and loving brother of the late Yogeswary and Suthaharan, and also of Manoharan (Swiss),
Loving father in law of Nishanth (USA),
Affectionate grandfather (Ammappah) of Akshayan and Athvika,
Loving brother in law of Logeswaran (India), Ketheeswaran (Swiss), Jegatheeswaran (Swiss), Suriyakala, Singarajah, Bama and Manogowri.
His funeral and final rites functions will be conducted at his residence, on Sunday, 12 September 2021, from 09:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, followed by cremation at the Kantharodai Hindu Cemetery.
