Mr. Ponniah Krishnamoorthy, who was born in Velanai West, Jaffna, and lived in Volts Lane,Colombo, passed away in Colombo, and was embraced by God on Saturday, July 04, 2020.
He is the beloved son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ponniah and Sivakolunthu,
Loving son in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Veerakathi and Rasamani,
Beloved husband of Pathmavathy,
Loving brother of Rajalakshmi (Canada), and the loving brother in law of the late Sivalingam,
Ever Loving father of Bamini (Canada), Bavatharini (Colombo), Balakrishna (Canada) and
Dineshkumar (USA),
Loving father in law of Thavayogarajah (Canada), Vijayananth (Colombo, Srithevi Karumari
Amman Kovil), Sailajah (Canada) and Vineka (USA),
Affectionate grandfather of Thanushan (Canada), Tharshikan (Canada), Nagasabareesan,
Nagavaishnavi and Nagavarshini (all of Colombo), and Pavinan, Pavishan and Sahana (all of Canada),
Kind and loving uncle (Mama) of Kalatharanm, Sritharan (Switzerland), Karunatharan, Vanaja,
Thanaja, Kavitha, Prapatharan, Iyngaran and Vijayaharan (Canada),
Loving brother in law of the late Kandasamy (the late Manickam, Sithambaram), Markandu
(Sarveswary), the late Kanagaratnam (Thavamanithevi), Maheswary (the late Ilankainayagam),
the late Amirthalingam, Sarpeswary (Gunaratnam) and Ilankaiventhan (Veeralakshmi),
Also the affectionate father, grandfather and uncle of children, nephews and nieces, foster
children and grandchildren.
With great sadness, we hereby notify that his Funeral and Final Rites will be held at his residence at 37/1, Volts Lane, Colombo 15, on Monday, July 06, 2020 at around 3:00 PM, followed by Cremation at the Mathampittiya Cemetery.
