Mr. Ponniah Kugathasan, who was born in Asiriyar Road, Changathanai, Chavakachcheri, Jaffna, and lived in Varuthalaivilan, Thellipalai, Jaffna and Colombo passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Tuesday, 31 August 2021.
He is the beloved eldest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sabapathy Ponniah(Teacher) andAnnapooraniammah,
Loving son in law of the late Kandiah and Thanalakshmi of Varuthalaivilan, Thellipalai,
Beloved husband of Puvanalakshmi,
Ever loving father of Bamini (Colombo) and Romeshan (Jaffna),
Loving father in law of Ramesh and Prapa,
Affectionate grandfather of Arani, Athvik and Akshith,
Kind and loving brother of Punitharani (Australia), the late Puvanarani (Canada), Kuladasan (Germany), Thevan (Canada) and Radha (USA),
Loving brother in law of Rajaratnam (Jaffna), Kulasingam (Canada), Meena (Germany), Thilagavathy (Canada), Shanmugathas (USA), the late Sornalingam, Karunalakshmi, the late Yogalakshmi and Jeyalakshmi.
His funeral and final rites functions were conducted in Colombo on Wednesday, 01 September 2021.
