Mr. Ponniah Kulanayagam, who was born in Church Road, Chankanai, Jaffna and lived in Inuvil, Jaffna passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Thursday, 10 February 2022.
He is the beloved youngest son of Sittampalam Ponniah and Muthupillai,
Loving youngest son in law of Rajaratnam and Pavalaratnam of Inuvil,
Beloved husband of Baladevi,
Ever loving father of Jeyasutha, Ilavarasan and Prashanthi (all of Swiss),
Loving father in law of Rajikumar, Abhina and Langatharan (all of Swiss),
Kind and loving brother of the late Thambinayagam, Selvanayagam, Rasanayagam, Ratnam and
Manonmani, and also of Thavamanidevi (England) and the late Kamaladevi,
Loving uncle (Chiththappah) of Maheswary (England), Vevi (Swiss), the late Yogarani and Ravichandran (Swiss), and also of Sasindran (Swiss), Yogeswaran (England), Ganeshwaran (France), Gengatharan (Swiss) and Jeytha (Swiss),
Affectionate grandfather of Arathiyas, Aron, Jeshwi, Sajesha and Ishana (all of Swiss).
His remains were kept for viewing at his residence, with funeral and final rites functions conducted on Sunday, February 13, 2022, followed by cremation at the Thavady Hindu Cemetery.
