Mrs. Poomany Yogaratnam, who was born in Ariyalai, Jaffna, and lived in Kilinochi, and later in Le Blanc-Mesnil, France passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Wednesday, 30 December 2020.
She is the beloved daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nagalingam and Umaiachi,
Loving daughter in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Velupillai and Janaki,
Beloved wife of the late Mr. Yogaratnam,
Ever loving mother of Sivakumar (Kumar- Lootes), Sivarani (Viji), Suguna (Susi) and Lavakumar (Lavan), all of France,
Loving mother in law of Manjula, the late Nandakumar (Kannan), Ketheeswaran (Kannan) and Vathsala (Ahil),
Kind and Loving sister of the late Thiyagarajah (Thiyahar), Raju (Rasu), Sinnammah (Pettammah), Chinniah, Ratnagopal (Gopal) and Kanagammah, and also of Thurairajah (Thevar; London),
Loving sister in law of the late Seethalakshmi, Sarasu, Sinnathamby, Balachandran, Rani and
Gnanasekaram, and also of Thangarajah (Suntharam; Chavakachcheri),
Affectionate grandmother of Sarujan, Sharmitha, Sophia, Subhikshan, Divya, Dyloshan, Vithusha, Sneha, Abhinayan, Nithujan, Celina, Shamina and Lashwin,
