Mrs. Rajalakshmi Appathurai, who was born in Chunnakam, Jaffna and lived in Chetty Street, Nallur, Jaffna, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Saturday, 27 March 2021.
She is the beloved wife of the late Mr. Appathurai,
Ever loving mother of Raveendrarani, Prabaharan and the late Vimalanathan,
Loving mother in law of Vinayagaratnam, Jotheeswary and Jeyabharathy,
Affectionate grandmother of Rajitha Sabesan, Rajiharan Sutharshini, Ramya Murali, Rajivan, Praveena Pratheepan, Priya Thapeen and Priyanka Menujan,
Dearly loving great grandmother of Sajeena, Sahana, Sanjana Rathushan, Katheeshan, Shivanthika, Shaswikan, Pranitha and Prasha.
Her Funeral and Final Rites functions were conducted on Sunday, 28 March 2021, at around 10:00 AM, and the remains were cremated at around 12:00 Noon at the Chunnakam Kothiyalady Hindu Cemetery.
