Mrs. Rajalakshmi Ratha, who was born in Wellawatte, Colombo, and lived in Nallur and Kalviyankadu -Jaffna, Galkissa, and Massachusetts and Arizona, USA passed away peacefully in Surprise, Arizona and was embraced by God on Monday, 25 October 2021.
She is the beloved daughter of the late Thambirajah and Gnanalakshmi,
Loving daughter in law of the late Nadarajah and Maheswary,
Beloved wife of Nadarajah Ratha (Former Divisional Officer, Agrarian Services Department, Jaffna, and former Master Teacher- ISA, Department of Education, Western Provincial Council,Colombo),
Ever loving mother of Sivaraj and Jeyaraj, both of the USA,
Loving mother in law of Ratha Lakshmi and Thayalini, both of the USA,
Affectionate grandmother of Kowshan and Rithushan, both of the USA,
Kind and loving sister of Ranjani (Canada), Rathini (Sri Lanka), Susheela (Sri Lanka), Sasirekha
(London) and Sriharan (Canada),
Loving sister in law of the late Sivakanthan, Dias Bandaranayake and Pathmarajah, and also of Manjula (Canada), Sritharan (London), Maheswaran, Ravindran, Lalitha, Chandra, Pathma, Nesarajah, Varatharajah (Germany), Nadesan, Sivarajah, Vasantharubi, Senthamilchelvi, Sivalojini and Thavanayaki -Mani, all of Canada,
