Dr. Rajan Sriskandarajah passed away peacefully on 4th November 2023.
He was the loving son of Mr & Mrs Kadirgamathamby.
Beloved husband of Dr Nalaini Sriskandarajah.
Devoted father of Sai Sriskandarajah.
Loving father-in-law of Molly McGrath.
Beloved grandfather of Siobhan and Fiona.
Devoted brother of Sriranjini and Srirani.
He graduated from University of Ceylon, Colombo and undertook post graduate training in England, where he obtained his Fellowship of the Royal College Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and in the United States, where he was board certiwed by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and had a successful career as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in Poughkeepsie, New York.
He dedicated his life to the service of his patients and served the Duchess County and surrounding areas for 35 years and was honoured by Vassar Brothers hospital and his peers, for the outstanding contribution to the community.
