Mr. Rajaratnam Periyar
Date of Birth: 16 November 1946 - Deceased: 16 March 2021
Mr. Rajaratnam Periyar, who was born and lived in Navakkiri, Jaffna, passed away peacefully in Jaffna, and was embraced by Lord Shiva on Tuesday, 16 March 2021.
He is the beloved son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Periyar and Sinnathangam,
Loving son in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Somasundaram and Valambigai,
Beloved husband of Kanageswary,
Ever loving father of Ratheesh (deceased), Anusha (Germany) and Prasanna (Canada),
Loving father in law of Tharmathevan (Germany) and Dinusha (Canada),
Kind and Loving brother of the late Seevaratnam, Thambithurai and Sellathurai, and also of Sellammah,
Loving brother in law of the late Sethupathy, Kamaladevi, and Maheswary, and also of Sothymalar, Murugiah, Mahadevan Umadevi, Parameswary and Vettivel,
Affectionate grandfather of Thanushan, Tharminth and Rishan.
His funeral and final rites functions will be conducted at his residence on Wednesday, 17 March 2021 at around 11:00 AM, and his remains will lie in state for viewing at his residence, and then taken to the Nilavarai Hindu Cemetery for cremation.
