Mrs. Rajeswary Somasegaran, who was born in Perambalam Avenue, Sanguveli, Jaffna and lived in colombo, passed away peacefully in Colombo and was embraced by God on Thursday, 28 October 2021.
She is the beloved daughter of the late Perambalam (Teacher) and Nagarathinam,
Loving daughter in law of the late Vairamuthu (Selliah Vathiyar – Principal) and Manonmani Ammah of Velanai West,
Beloved wife of the late Vairamuthu Somasegaran (Retired Chief Writer),
Ever loving mother of Vaitheky (Norway), and Gaganantha and Kuganantha (both Directors of Micro PC System),
Loving mother in law of Prabaharan (Norway), Vinotha and Karthika,
Kind and Loving sister of Parameswary, Yugavathy (deceased), Maheswary (deceased), Paranchothinathan and Mangayarkarasi,
Loving sister in law of Shanmugaratnam (deceased), Ponmayilambigai, Poorananthampillai (deceased), Thirunilainayaki (Canada), Selvendran (Canada), Vijayendran (London), Balendran (deceased), Kalamani, Shanmugaratnam (deceased), Balendran (deceased), Amirthalingam, Umadevi and Vijayasundaram,
Also, the loving sister in law (Sahaly) of Bajaneswary (France), Mahalingam, Rajeswary (deceased), Kanthamoorthy (Canada), Rajeswary (deceased), Mathivathani (London), Priyadharshini (France), Loganathan (KMT),
Affectionate grandmother of Karunika (Norway), Dhanishka, Yathura and Brathan.
Her holy remains will be lie in state for viewing at her residence, then for viewing at the Jayaratne Parlour in Borella at around 08:00 AM on Sunday, 31 October 2021, followed by funeral and final rites functions conducted at around 10:00 AM, with cremation later.
