யாழ். வேலணையைப் பிறப்பிடமாகவும், பிரித்தானியா - இலண்டன், பிரான்ஸ் - பாரிஸ் ஆகிய இடங்களை வசிப்பிடமாகவும், தற்போது யாழ்ப்பாணம் 2ம் குறுக்குத்தெருவை வசிப்பிடமாகவும் கொண்ட திரு. இராஜலிங்கம் கேசவன் அவர்கள் 20-03-2025 வியாழக்கிழமை வீதி விபத்தில் அகால மரணம் அடைந்தார்.
அன்னார், காலஞ்சென் இராஜலிங்கம் (இளைப்பாறிய அதிபர்) - யோகேஸ்வரி (இளைப்பாறிய ஆசிரியை - வேலணை சரஸ்வதி வித்தியாலயம்) தம்பதியினரின் அன்பு மகனும்,
காலஞ்சென்றவர்களான தர்மலிங்கம் (இளைப்பாறிய ஆசிரியர்), சண்முகலிங்கம் (இளைப்பாறிய ஆசிரியர்) ஆகியோரின் பாசமிகு பெறாமகனும்,
காலஞ்சென்ற வேலாயுதபிள்ளை, இராஜேஸ்வரி சிவலோகநாதன் (ஓய்வுபெற்ற ஆசிரியை) ஆகியோரின் அன்பு மருமகனும்,
Eng. செழியன் (கனடா), மேகலா மனோகரன் (PDHS - ), Dr. நிரஞ்சன் (கொழும்பு), முரளீதரன் (பிரித்தானியா) ஆகியோரின் பாசமிகு சகோதரரும்,
சதாபானு ஜனகன் (பிரித்தானியா), சண்முகலிங்கம் சுமூகன் (அவுஸ்திரேலியா) ஆகியோரின் உடன்பிறவாச் சகோதரனும்,
பத்மினி (கனடா), மனோகரன், கலைச்செல்வி (Legal Deaughtsmen Department) ஆகியோரின் அன்பு மைத்துனரும்,
அஜீன் (St. Patrick's College), வசீகா (St. John's College), ஆதிகேசன் (St. John's College) ஆகியோரின் அன்புத் தந்தையும்,
அபிநாத் (IIT Campus - Colombo), விபிசன் (பொறியியல் பீடம் - UOM), கவீன், ஶ்ரீஸ்கந்தன் (பிரித்தானியா) ஆகியோரின் அன்பு மாமனாரும்,
துர்க்கா (கனடா), அக்சயன், கவிநயா ஆகியோரின் அன்புச் சித்தப்பாவும் ஆவார்.
அன்னாரின் இறுதிக்கிரியைகள் 23-03-2025 ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை அன்று காலை 9.00 மணியளவில் அன்னாரது இல்லத்தில் நடைபெற்று, மதியம் 1.00 மணியளவில் புகழுடல் வேலணை சாட்டி இந்து மயானத்தில் தகனம் செய்யப்படும்.

I am deeply saddened to inform you that my dearest friend Dr. Niranjan’s brother, Rajalingam Kesavan, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025, due to head injuries sustained in a roadside accident. He had been hospitalized but unfortunately could not recover.
Time has passed so quickly. I still remember the first day when Niranjan, Mathi, and I came to pick you up at Fort Station when you first arrived in Colombo at just 16 years old. How three decades have flown by. You were still so young, and I can’t imagine how your mother, siblings, and relatives will cope with this immense pain. Our deepest condolences to all of his family members.
Kesavan was native of Velanai, Jaffna, and had lived in London, United Kingdom, and Paris, France. He was currently residing at 2nd Cross Street, Jaffna.
He was the beloved son of the late Mr. Rajalingam (retired principal) and Mrs. Yogeswari (retired teacher, Velanai Saraswathi Vidyalayam).
He was the cherished nephew of the late Mr. Sellappa Dharmalingam (retired teacher) and the late Mr. Sellappa Sanmugalingam (retired teacher).
He was also the devoted son-in-law of the late Mr. Velayudhapillai and Mrs. Rajeswari Sivaloganathan (retired teacher), and
The dear brother of Eng. Chelian (Canada), Megala Manoharan (PDHS-Jaffna), Dr. Niranjan (Colombo), and Muralidharan (UK). He was the loving first cousin of Dr. Sathabhanu Janagan (UK), Eng. Sanmugalingam Sumoogan (Australia), and the cherished brother-in-law of Padmini Chelian (Canada), Eng. Manoharan, and Kalaichelvi Niranjan (Legal Draughtsmen Department).
Kesavan was also a beloved father to Ajeen (St. Patrick's College), Vaseeka (Jaffna Hindu Ladies College), Adikesan (St. John's College) and a dear uncle to Abhinath (IIT Campus - Colombo), Vipishan (Engineering Faculty - UOM), Kavin, Sreeskandan (UK), Durka (Canada), Akshan, and Kavinya.
His funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at 9:00 AM at his residence, No. 6, 2nd Cross Street, Jaffna. His body will be cremated at 1:00 PM at the Velanai Saadi Saiva Cemetery.
