Mrs. Rasammah Kandiah, who was born in Karunkali, Karainagar, Jaffna, and lived in Chunnakam, Jaffna and Toronto, Canada, passed away peacefully in Chunnakam, Jaffna, and was embraced by God on Tuesday, 25 May 2021.
She is the beloved eldest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Muthunambu and Visaladchi,
Loving daughter in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Murugesu and Parvathy,
Beloved wife of the late Mr. Murugesu Kandiah (Dehiowitte, famous Businessman),
Ever Loving mother of Sivapatham (Chunnakam, former Famous Businessman), Sivakadadcham
(Chunnakam, famous Businessman) and Sivasothy (Ilaiyabharathy Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, Owner),
Kind and Loving sister of the late Paramasivam, Subramaniam, Easwary, Saraswathy, Maheswary, Valliammai and Umadevi,
Loving sister in law of the late Ponnampalam Arumugam, Velupillai Sivasothy (Nawalapitiya, former famous Businessman), the late Chellappah Suntharalingam (Former AGA), Nallathamby Kirubalan, and the late Kandasamy Shanmugampillai,
Loving mother in law of Krishnaveni, Rajalakshmi and Nalayini,
Affectionate grandmother of Vishnu, Thuminthan, Thulasiram, Dhushyanthan, Dwaragan, Vithura, Vickra, Sivamalini, Vidya, Chandrika, Jenusha and Hamali,
Dearly loving great grandmother of Diya, Harry, Aaryan, Aariya, Ahana, Athithya, Aruthra and Mikkaya.
Her funeral and final rites functions will be conducted at Chunnakam on Tuesday, 25 May 2021, followed by cremation at the Hindu Cemetery.
