Mrs. Rasammah Ponnusamy, who was born in Sappatchimavady, Meesalai, Chavakachcheri, Jaffna, and lived in Pallavarayankaddu, Mulankavil, Kilinochchi, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Friday, 21 January 2022.
She is the beloved daughter of the late Manickam and Vallipillai,
Loving daughter in law of the late Kathiravelu and Sellamuthu,
Beloved wife of the late Ponnusamy,
Kind and loving sister of the late Subramaniam and Saraswathy,
Loving sister in law of the late Sellathurai, Rasammah and Balachandran, and also of Paranchothy (Australia) and Ratnam (Sri Lanka),
Ever loving mother of Suganthi (Holland), Vasanthi (Retired Vice Principal, Sri Lanka), Srithar (London), Jeyanthi (Principal, Kilinochchi Maha Vidyalayam, Sri Lanka), Dr. Manohar (Australia), the late Shanthi (Nurse- Mulankavil Hospital, Sri Lanka), Murugathas (France), Sivananthy (Principal, Jeyapuram Maha Vidyalayam), Ananthy (London), Dr. Srishankar (Doctor, Batticaloa Teaching Hospital) and Thamayanthy (Teacher, Mulankavil Elementary School),

Her funeral and final rites functions will be conducted at her residence at around 01:00 PM on Sunday, 23 January 2022, followed by cremation at the Mulankavil Hindu Cemetery.
