Mrs. Rasammah Shanmuganathan, who was born in Thalaiyali, Jaffna and lived in Manaltharai Lane, Kantharmadam, Jaffna, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Saturday, 27 March 2021.
She is the beloved daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Velupillai and Annammah,
Loving daughter in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thambipillai and Manickam,
Beloved wife of the late Mr. Shanmuganathan,
Ever loving mother of Vimalanayaki, Vallinayaki, Nandagopalan and Thulasikanthan,
Loving mother in law of Selvarajah, Srimurugan, Nithiya and Meeraja,
Kind and loving sister of the late Navaratnam, Ponmani, Arulammah and Kandasamy, and also of Thavavathy,
Loving sister in law of the late Nadarajah, Nagaratnam, Ganeshan, Sinnarajah and Thanapackiyavathy,
Affectionate grandmother of Mathura, Gajeevan, Sujitha, Saravanan, Jeyani, Kirujan, Sharanya,
Sharija, Divyan, Priyankan and Vithishja,
Dearly loving great grandmother of Keeran, Ruban and Daniya.
Her Funeral and Final Rites functions will be conducted at her residence, on Sunday, 28 March 2021, at around 07:00 AM, followed by Cremation at around 09:00 AM, at Kombayan Manal Cemetery.
