Mr. Rasiah Sivagnanamoorthy, who was born in Sithankerny, Jaffna, and lived in Sithankerny and Bandarawela, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Tuesday, 24 August 2021.
He is the beloved son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Rasiah and Sivapackiyam,
Loving son in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Tharmalingam and Rasammah,
Beloved husband of Sithampararani,
Ever loving father of Selvathy, Balamayuran (Engineer, Australia), Mayura (Engineer, Australia),
Sivamayuran (Provincial Secretariat, Mullaithivu), Sivaseelan (Computer Programmer, Oman) and Sivapalan (Accounting Registrar, Jaffna University),
Kind and Loving brother in Dr. Ganeshamoorthy, Kanagaratnam (Canada) and Shanmuganathan
(Jaipur, Jaffna),
Loving brother in law of the late Thaneswary, Thavagnanapackiyam and Sithamparanathan, and also of Yogarani and Shanmuganathan,
Loving father in law of Malini (Senior Lecturer, Peradeniya University), Pushpakumar (Computer
Programmer, Australia), Vinoya, Sivagowri (Department of Buildings, Jaffna) and Divya (Computer Programmer, Jaffna),
Affectionate grandfather of Saisangeeth, Arujan, Akshan, Sainisha and Srisha.
His funeral and final rites functions will be conducted at his residence on Wednesday, 25 August 2021 followed by cremation at the Valukaiyaru Hindu Cemetery at around 02:00 PM.
