Mrs. Ratnapoopathy Theivendrampillai, who was born in Punguduthivu, Ward No.1, Jaffna, and lived in Thalaiyali, Kokuvil, Jaffna, Toronto, Canada, and Sydney, Australia, passed away peacefully in Sydney and was embraced by Lord Shiva on Tuesday, 24 August 2021.
She is the beloved daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sellathurai and Sinnathangam,
Loving daughter in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sithamparampillai and Sivakolunthu,
Beloved wife of the late Mr. Sithamparampillai Theivendrampillai (Teacher),
Ever loving mother of Indrakumar (Engineer, Sydney), Sivakumar (Engineer, Brisbane), Dr.
Sithamparakumar (Paran, Sydney), Easwarakumar (Healthcare Officer, Sydney), all Old Students of Jaffna Hindu College, Uthayarani (Teacher, UK, Old Student of Jaffna Hindu Ladies College), Premakumari (Teacher, UK, Old Student of Jaffna Vembadi Ladies College) and Kalarani (Laboratory Technician, Sydney, Old Student of Jaffna Vembadi Ladies College),
Kind and loving sister of the late Somasundaram, Arulampalam, Gunaratnam, Parasakthy, Parameswary, Thanalakshmi and Sivayogammah,
Loving sister in law of the late Parasakthy Lakshumanapillai, Packiyalakshmi Perampalam, Ratnapoopathy Somasundaram, Sornalingam, Masilamani, Vallipuram and Gangaiveniyan, and also of Sathiyaroopavathy Gunaratnam (Sydney),
Loving mother in law of Premalachelvi, Sivapalan, Koneswary, Geetha, Mathiyalagan, Thevarajah and Chandrika,
Affectionate grandmother of Prashanth, Iswarya- Prashanth, Thadchayini Isaac, Dexter Issac, Gokulan, Thanushan, Sivaarani, Anojan, Nilanka, Anojan, Yalini Nishanth, Nishanth Gunasekaram, Inthujan, Catherine Inthujan, Shaila, Abhilashini Atchuthan, Shoban, Aruni, Shalini, Anoji, Abhiman, Akshaya and Aarathi.
Dearly loving great grandmother of Tharagai, Areya, Sky, Nathaniel, Esla and Charlie.
Her funeral and final rites functions will be conducted on Thursday, 26 August 2021 from 12:00 Noon to 01:30 PM at Minchinbury, Sydney West, followed by Cremation.
