யாழ்ப்பாணத்தைப் பிறப்பிடமாகவும், பிரித்தானியா Harrow வை வசிப்பிடமாகவும் கொண்ட றூபி பெனடிக்ரா பஸ்டியாம்பிள்ளை அவர்கள் 18-02-2022 வெள்ளிக்கிழமை அன்று இங்கிலாந்தில் இறைவனடி சேர்ந்தார்.
அன்னார், காலஞ்சென்ற A.C. லோறன்ஸ் (ஓய்வுபெற்ற அஞ்சல் அதிகாரி), மேரி ஆன் லோறன்ஸ் தம்பதிகளின் அன்பு மகளும்,
காலஞ்சென்ற S. S. பஸ்டியாம்பிள்ளை அவர்களின் பாசமிகு மனைவியும்,
வினோதினி, பத்மினி, ராஜன் ஆகியோரின் அன்புத் தாயாரும்,
திஸ்ஸ, காலஞ்சென்ற M. சுகுமார் மற்றும் சாந்தினி ஆகியோரின் பாசமிகு மாமியாரும்,
காலஞ்சென்றவர்களான Captain M.S. லோறன்ஸ், DIG, A.C லோறன்ஸ். பேர்லி கூக் மற்றும் அன்ரன் லோறன்ஸ், சிறில் லோறன்ஸ் (இலங்கை), டெய்சி பத்மநாதன் (கனடா) ஆகியோரின் அன்புச் சகோதரியும்,
ரிலான், சுமித்ரா, அறோஷா, சுதாஷினி, ஜுலியன், அந்தியா ஆகியோரின் அன்புப் பேத்தியும்,
எய்டன், ஈத்தன், அமறா ஆகியோரின் பாசமிகு பூட்டியும் ஆவார்.

Mrs. Ruby Benedicta Bastiampillai, who was born in Jaffna and lived in Harrow, London, UK, passed away peacefully in England and was embraced by God on Friday, 18 February 2022.
She is the beloved daughter of the late A. C. Lawrence (Retired Post Master) and Maryanne Lawrence.
Beloved wife of the late S. S. Bastiampillai.
Ever loving mother of Vinothini, Pathmini and Rajan.
Loving mother in law of Tissa, M. Sugumar (deceased) and Shanthini.
Kind and loving sister of the late M. S. Lawrence, DIG, A. C. Lawrence and Perly Cook, and also of Anton Lawrence, Cyril Lawrence (Sri Lanka) and Daisy Pathmanathan (Canada).
Affectionate grandmother of Rilan, Sumithra, Arosha, Suthashini, Julian and Anthia.
Dearly loving great grandmother of Ayden, Ethan, and Amara.
