Dr. Sakthivadivel Sakthipalan, who was born in Tholpuram West, Jaffna and lived in Naanatan, Mannar, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Wednesday, 06 October 2021.
He is the beloved son of Sakthivadivel (Vadivel Watch Works, Jaffna) and Thilagavathy,
Loving son in law of the late Vivekananthan (Retired Manager, Peoples Bank, Mannar) and of Srijeyadevi,
Beloved husband of Dwaraga (Teacher, Murungam Maha Vidyalayam, Manna),
Ever loving father of Shakthika and Shakthipriya,
Kind and loving brother of Yasotha (Canada), Yanu (London) and Lojini (Deputy Manager, Peoples Bank, Kayts),
Loving brother in law of Sasitharan (Canada), Jeyaseelan (London), Thavakumar (Development Officer, Regional Secretariat, Chankanai), Dr. Murali (General District Hospital, Trincomalee) and Dr. Vaseehari (General District Hospital, Trincomalee),
Affectionate uncle of Harish, Akash, Abhilash, Harith, Akshaya, Divyan, Kapisha and Akshayini.
His funeral and final rites functions will be conducted at his residence at around 11:00 AM on Thursday, 07 October 2021, followed by cremation at the Naanatan Hindu Cemetery.
