Mrs. Sakunthala Kanagaratnam, who was born in Manipay, Jaffna, and lived in Colombo, and later in Markham, Canada, passed away peacefully in Canada, and was embraced by God on Sunday, 24 October 2021.
She is the beloved daughter of the late Velayutham and Panchavarnam,
Loving daughter in law of the late Arumugam and Packiyam,
Beloved wife of Kanagaratnam (Retired Tax Assessor, Inland Revenue Department, Sri Lanka),
Ever Loving mother of Aravinthan (Canada), Muhunthan (Australia) and Dhushyanthan (Australia),
Loving mother in law of Kalyani (Canada), Chithranjani and Maithreyi, both of Australia,
Loving sister in law of the late Neelambigai, Thatparanantham, Rajaratnam and Purushothaman, and also of Nageswary (Sri Lanka) and the late Parasakthy,
Also, the loving sister in law (Sahaly) of the late Nagarajah, Sivapackiyam, Nageswary, Nirmala,
Shanmuganathan and Ganeshalingam,
She is also the loving sister in law (Sammanthy) of Punniyasingam, Rajeswary, Baskaran, Pathmini, Prabaharan and Mohana,
Affectionate grandmother of Abhirami, Aathi, Melanie, Kanika, Anushka and Yuvan.
