Mr. Sangarapillai Vairavapillai, who was born in Kilanai, Kollankaladdy, Jaffna, and lived in Pannalai, Thellipalai, Jaffna, passed away peacefully and was embraced by Lord Shiva on Monday, 19 July 2021.
He is the beloved son of the late Sinnathamby (Shanaiyar) Sangarapillai and Sellamuthu of Kollankaladdy,
Loving son in law of the late Nallathamby and Thangapillai of Pannalai,
Beloved husband of the late Rajalaxmi,
Ever loving father of Lagumathy (London), Muhunthan (London) and Balamathy (Lecturer, National Social Development Organization),
Kind and Loving brother of the late Dr. Manickam, Manimehalai, Manonmani, Sivathasan (former Member of Parliament, Jaffna District), and also of Mr. Nadarajah (Canada) and Naguleswaran (Leading Entrepreneur, Jaffna),
Loving nephew (foster son) of the late Sinnathamby Kandiah (Geologist) -Rasanayaki family and
Saravanamuthu (Veterinary Surgeon) -Maragathavalli family,
Loving brother in law of the late Kasipillai Thurairatnam (former Teacher) and Gunaratnam, and also of Sivabalasingam, Apputhurai, Krishnamoorthy (Retired Cashier, Thellipalai All Purpose Cooperative Society), Thurairajasingam (Retired Teaching Consultant, Valikamam Education District), Pathminidevi, Kokiladevi, and the late Sivagunanayaki and Malini,
Loving father in law of Vaithilingam Kumaran (London) and Dr. S. Sribrinthan (Lecturer, National Education Department, Maharagama),
Affectionate grandfather of Narmika (London).
His remains were cremated at the Kombayanmanal Hindu Cemetery in Jaffna, on Wednesday, 21 July 2021 and his holy ashes were surrendered at the Holy Site at Keerimalai.
