Mrs. Saraswathy Maheswaran, who was born in Punguduthivu, Ward No. 3, Jaffna, and lived in Galkissa, Colombo, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Thursday, 02 December 2021.
She is the beloved daughter of the late Ponniah and Kanagammah,
Loving daughter in law of the late Kanagaratnam and Parasakthy,
Beloved wife of the late Kanagaratnam Maheswaran,
Ever loving mother of Kapildevan, Arun Prakash and Vinothkanth,
Loving mother in law of Parkavi,
Loving sister in law (Sammanthy) of Mahendrarajah and Thadchayini,
Kind and Loving sister of Parameswaran, Maheswarydevi, Menaharani, Panchalingam, Mahalingasivam and Mahendran,
Loving sister in law of Manoranjini, Manoharan, Arulrajah, Kirubaharan, Vaiyanthimala, Sivathasan, Mathiruban, Sivaramalingam Gnanavathy, Sivamathy, Manjuladevi Shanmugalingam, Vasanthamalarchelvi and Thayanithy,
Also, the loving sister in law of Puvaneswary, Yoganathan, Gopalasingam, Ranji, Naguleswary and Mallikadevi.
Her remains will lie in state for viewing at the Mahinda Parlour at around 9:00 AM on Saturday, 04 December 2021, with funeral and final rites functions conducted at around 10:00 AM on Sunday, 05 December 2021, followed by cremation at the Galkissa Hindu General Cemetery.
