Mrs. Saraswathy Paramu, who was born in Kalavilipiddy, Karainagar, Jaffna, and lived in Subramaniam Road, Idaipiddy, Jaffna, and later in Canada, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Friday, 22 January 2021.
She is the beloved daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Murugesu and Lakshmi,
Loving daughter in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Murugesu and Thillaivanam,
Beloved wife of the late Mr. Murugesu Paramu (Time of Ceylon),
Ever Loving mother of Kathirgamanathan (Nathan; Ceylon Railway Corporation, Maradana)
(deceased) and Thilgavathy (Ambika),
Loving mother in law of Logeswary and Ravindran (Ravi),
Kind and loving sister of the late Subramaniam and Mahendran,
Loving sister in law of Thangammah, Kamalambigai, and the late Arumugam and Sivakami,
Also the loving sister in law (Sahaly) of the late Rasammah and Kandiah,
Affectionate grandmother of Ajanthan, Ragavan and Raveena,
We hereby notify that due to the current situation in the Country her funeral and final rites functions will be conducted with her family members only.
