Mrs. Seethalakshmi Murugaiah, who was born in Amman Kovilady, Araly East, Jaffna, and lived in Colombo, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Thursday, 17 June 2021.
She is the beloved daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kandiah and Visaladchi,
Loving daughter in law of Mr. and Mrs. Chinniah and Sivakami,
Beloved wife of Mr. Murugaiah,
Ever Loving mother of the late Ravindran, and also of Jeyarani, Yogarani, Selvarani, Tharmendran, and the late Vijayarani,
Loving mother in law of Manisekaran, Kamal, Balachandran, Raveen and Malini,
Kind and Loving sister of Kanagasundaram, Sarojinidevi (deceased), Sivayanasundaram and
Sivayogasundari,
Loving sister in law of Mylvaganam (deceased), Sellammh, Theivanai, Saraswathy, Sellathurai,
Rajendran, Ranganathan, Manickavasagar, Nageswary and Arumaithurai,
Affectionate grandmother of the grandchildren, and the caring great grandmother of the great
grandchildren.
Her holy remains will lie in state for viewing at the Jeyaratne Funeral Parlour on Tuesday, 22 June 2021 at around 03:00 PM followed by cremation.
