Mr. Selvarajah Dharmalingham, born in New Chemmany Road, Nallur North, Jaffna, Sri Lanka and a resident of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, passed away peacefully on 25-10-2024 Friday at the age of 87.
He was the beloved son of the late Mr. Vaithilingham Dharmalingam and Mrs. Nallamah Dharmalingam, and cherished son-in-law of the late Mr. Mahendran and Mrs. Sironmany Mahendran.
Selvarajah was a devoted husband of Mrs. Mangai Selvarajah for 53 years,
He is survived by his loving son, Mayooran Selvarajah, and daughter-in-law, Shankeetha Selvarajah,
He was a proud grandfather of Keeran and Haran,
He was also a caring brother to his siblings, the late Tharmarajah, the late Mangaiyarkarasi, the late Durairajah, Puvaneswary, Thambirajah, Balasoundaari, Pushpambigai, Gnanamanohari, Yogeswary, and Thavarathy,
He was also a supportive brother-in-law of Jayashree, Sivakumar, the late Thirukumar, Nanthini, Vasanthi, Indrakumar, the late Indramathi, Mathivathani, and Kamalini (Gowri),
In the quiet moments that follow his departure, the weight of our loss feels immeasurable.
Selvarajah's absence leaves an unfillable space in our hearts and lives.
His laughter, his wisdom, and his unwavering support will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
