Mr Sellappa Sunthareswaran((வரன்,Buildinf Contractor)

Mr. Chellappah Sunthareswaran (Waran, Building Contractor), who was born inVeemankaamam, Jaffna, and lived in Manipay, Jaffna passed away at the age of 68 and wasembraced by God on Saturday, June 27, 2020.
Along with Sellathurai ‘Master’ (New Jersey, USA) and the late Balasingam ‘Master’, he was very supportive of my father in the growth of Union College and accomplished several achievements through the Old Boys Association.
He is the beloved eldest son of the late Mr. Chellappah of Veemankaamam, and Mrs.Sinnammah Chellappa of Siruppiddi, Puttur,
Beloved husband of Hemalatha (CTB),
Ever loving father of Vajithan and Nishanthi,
Kind and Loving brother of the late Thanalakshmy, Rayalakshmi and Puvaneswary, all Old Girls
of Union College, Rajitha (JUC 91 O/L, London, UK), Rajivan (JUC- UK), Yasotharan (JUC, France),
Yasothai (JUC, France), Maheswaran (Mahesan) and Rayeswaran (Rasan), both Old Boys of
Union College, Maheswary (Old Girl, Union College, currently living in Norway) – Muhunthan
(Mother, JUC 83 O/L, 86 A/L, Norway), and also of Kanthimathy (Old Girl, Union College) now
living in Denmark.
Mr. Sunthareswaran is a very close friend and a College colleague of our famous Sports Training
teacher Balasingam Master. He was also very active in the various initiatives completed by the
Lions Club Voluntary Organization.
